Privacy Policy

Crumb & Curiosity Publishing · Effective 2026-11-08

1. Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Crumb & Curiosity Publishing (the “Application”), a private desktop publishing workflow for the Crumb & Curiosity YouTube channel, may access, use, store, and share information through Google OAuth, YouTube Data API Services, and YouTube Analytics API Services. The Application is operated for authorized channel publishing and performance review; it is not a public account creation service.

2. Information accessed

Depending on the OAuth permissions granted and enabled features, the Application may access or process:

  • YouTube channel ID, channel name, channel settings, and authorization status.
  • Video IDs, titles, descriptions, publication settings, upload status, thumbnails, and playlist information.
  • Captions or subtitle-related metadata when the corresponding feature and API authorization are enabled.
  • YouTube Analytics reports, such as views, watch time, and other channel-performance metrics available to the authorized account.
  • OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, associated permission scopes, and local operational configuration or diagnostic logs needed to maintain a publishing session.

The Application does not request the user's Google password. Google authentication occurs through Google's own OAuth authorization interface.

3. How Google and YouTube data is used

Authorized data is used only to authenticate and verify the intended channel; prepare, upload, update, or organize channel content at the operator's direction; validate publishing status; and display channel analytics to the authorized operator. The Application does not use Google user data for advertising, targeted marketing, data brokerage, credit decisions, or unrelated profiling.

4. Storage and protection

OAuth credentials, settings, and operational data may be held in the operator-controlled local publishing environment as needed for the authorized workflow. Access should be restricted to authorized operators. The informational website at cc.asiamarketsignal.com does not contain Google login fields, receive OAuth callbacks, or intentionally store OAuth access or refresh tokens.

5. Sharing and third-party services

The Application is not designed to sell Google or YouTube user data or share it with advertising networks, data brokers, or unrelated third parties. Google and YouTube process information as necessary to provide their APIs. Cloudflare hosts these public policy pages and may process routine web-request information to deliver them. Data may also be disclosed where required by applicable law.

6. Retention and deletion

Application-held OAuth tokens, channel settings, and related API data are retained only as needed for the authorized publishing workflow and applicable policy requirements. The authorized user can request deletion of the Application's stored user data by emailing bgsonyai02@gmail.com. After verification of the request, data under the Application's control will be deleted as soon as possible and within seven calendar days, except where retention is required by law.

Deleting data stored by this Application does not remove content or information stored on YouTube. To delete content from YouTube, use YouTube Studio or an appropriately authorized API client.

7. Revoking Google access

To revoke OAuth permission, open Google Account → Third-party apps and services, locate Crumb & Curiosity Publishing, and remove its access. The authorized operator should also remove locally stored authorization tokens and configuration when no longer required.

8. Google and YouTube policies

This Application uses YouTube API Services. The use of information received from Google APIs is subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements. Google and YouTube provide their own privacy rules: see the Google Privacy Policy and YouTube Terms of Service.

9. Website delivery

These informational webpages do not embed third-party advertising, behavioral-tracking scripts, or Google sign-in forms. The hosting provider may maintain routine infrastructure logs as part of operating the website.

10. Updates

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the Application's features, requested OAuth scopes, data practices, or applicable policies. The current version will be available at https://cc.asiamarketsignal.com/privacy.
